Meg Whitman Vs. Jerry Brown
Meg Whitman (R) and Jerry Brown (D) met up at Dominican Universty on Tuesday night to debate of California's issues and concerns. Meg Whitman's opinions on proposition 13 was that she agreed with the decrease in property taxing and that it will be "essential" to the state's being. She wants to lower taxes. She also believes that wel-fare isnt needed for the communities as of right now, and its not something necessary, but also that the governmen needs to be ran more efficiently because the government is wasting more money than it is recieving. In other words she wants there to be regulation in the govenment of the state. In the other hand Jerry Brown made the point of not having scapegoats, one of them bein immigrants, with Meg Whitman's controversy over her illegal employee working at her house. Also he wans the people of the state to reflect on what the state government is doing.
